In 2012, for the third time in a row, Sean Connery qualified for the Bundeschampionat after having won and placed in elementary (L) level tests for young dressage horses.
His first crop exceeded all expectations: with their noble lines, long legs and strong step-off, it was only too obvious that Sean Connery was their sire, and they were quickly snatched up at the foal auctions in Vechta. After winning the 2010 Hanoverian Stallion Championships, Sean Connery then won bronze in Warendorf. In 2011 he again successfully competed in the Bundeschampionat. He took his 30-day test in Neustadt/Dosse, finishing with the second highest score for rideability, an 8.75 and equally good scores for his gaits.
Sean Connery -> Sir Donnerhall I / Rotspon / Weltmeyer
In the shortest time his sire Sir Donnerhall I advanced to become the heir of his outstanding sire, Sandro Hit.
His dam St.Pr.St. River Queen O also gave birth to St.Pr.St. Scarlett O (by Stedinger) who won ribbons in tests for young riding horses.
The dam’s sire Rotspon is well-known for his highly rideable offspring.
His great granddam, Matcho’s Girl, is the dam of two licensed stallions, World Diamond O (by White Star) and Weltjunge (by Weltmeyer).
