Continental Blue was highly placed in the Grand Prix of Herning/DEN, Neumünster/GER and Neustadt/D./GER with Philip Rüping/GER and seamlessly continued his series of successes from the years before.
As a four-year-old, Continental Blue made his debut in competitions for young show jumping horses and as a five-year-old, he won a series of these competitions. At the age of six, he had his first successes in international competitions for young horses. He then effortlessly succeeded the jump into higher classes.
Continental Blue was licensed in 2020 and provided the required performance record with his sport achievements. His son Continental Cafe PS/Markus Friedel/GER, who was the result of a trial crossing, made his debut victoriously in competitions for young show jumping horses (4y.o.).
Continental Blue passes on his unconditional willingness to perform to his offspring, who also have a perfect conformation.
His sire Conthargos, who also stands at our stud, produces numerous top horses, including the international competition winner Conchento PS/Luciana Diniz/POR, Easy Girl/Santiago Lambre/BRA, Connecticut/Matthew Sampson/GBR, Cocolina/Natalie Dean/USA, Cosa Nostra/Jeroen Dubbeldam/NED and Conthinder/Andrzej Oplatek/POL, to only name a few. Almost 20 of his sons have been licensed, including our OS Champion Stallion and main premium winner Conthalou PS and stallion performance test winner Chaccothage Blue PS.
His dam Chagolda also produced Congolda Blue PS (by Contendros), who achieved her first international successes up to 1.40m as a seven-year-old with Koki Saito/JPN, and Don Blue (by Diatendro), who competed as a six-year-old in the international Youngster Tour for Italy.
In the second generation of the pedigree appears our elite stallion Chacco-Blue, a son of the Holstein stallion Chambertin out of a Contender-Godavari xx dam and inbred to the line founder Cor de la Bryère. He was third in the Grand Prix in Aachen and won the Grand Prix in Neumünster. In 2015, the successes of his offspring placed him amongst the top ten of the world’s best show jumpers for the first time. Since 2017, he has led the ranking of the world breeding federation WBFSH. His most successful offspring include Explosion W/Ben Maher/GBR, Olympic Champion, individual silver and team bronze medallist at the European Championships and Global Champions Tour winner, Chanyon/Daisuke Fukushima/JPN, placed sixth at the Olympics, Chaqui Z/Shane Sweetnam/IRL, European Team Champion, and Chacon/Eoin McMahon/IRL, placed second in the Nations Cup final, amongst others.
